Mission.
The Joint Service Special Operations Fund Inc (JSSOF) supports the organizations and members of the United States Special Operations community and its legacy. Joint Service Special Operation Fund Inc. is a tax exempt organization under the IRS code Section 501(c)(19) with contributions being tax deductible. JSSOF is a Montana Corporation in good standing.

JSSOF develops, funds, and conducts numerous recreational activities and particularly those that provide a brief respite to the stresses of combat deployment faced by these soldiers and their families. In most of our activities, embedded former members promote enduring solidarity by having the personal understanding of the pressures that our current members face.

Respites & Events.

Winter Respite. JSSOF hosts a week-long winter respite currently held in Whitefish, MT. Sponsored guests and Veterans of the Special Operations Community come together to enjoy skiing, dog sledding, snowmobiling, hatchet throwing, feasting, and chatting by a fire with friends and family in a picturesque winter wonderland.

Summer Respites. JSSOF hosts several multi-day summer respites across the county, occurring in South Central Missouri, Orlando, the Ozark Mountains, Whitefish, and the Great Bear Wilderness. Families are able to pause and spend time making core memories in these amazing destinations hosted by Veterans of the Special Operations Community.

JSSOF hosts a Marksmanship Award, which is awarded bi-annually to the outstanding Special Operations marksman.

JSSOF has and always will support the First Special Service Forces Association and its goals to perpetuate the legacy of the “Forcemen”.​
